Why did you start practicing yoga?
My parents introduced me to yoga in my teens. What really struck me was that yoga involved everything mind, body, and breath. Through the years I have not been consistent with yoga practice but would always prefer it over any other kind of physical exercise routine I would follow.

What kind of yoga sessions do you practise, eg, online, in a studio or personal zoom or personal in-person.
Both online group classes and personal in-person sessions.

How has yoga benefited you?

Since the time I started doing yoga, I have practiced with many teachers and touched upon various styles of yoga. But I have really come to connect with Iyengar yoga. The reason is simple; as the focus is not on aasanas looking right but doing the action right. And so for every student that action is very personal to their body and mind.

There are 2 things I feel I still need to learn: How to do self practice. How to go beyond your comfort zone while doing self practice. How do I I teach and inspire my children to take up yoga.

Why do particular reason you like practising with me?

As a teacher you exhibit utmost patience and intelligence to direct it towards the right path. Your instructions and demonstrations are very engaging and inspiring.

It’s been 2 years into this journey with you. My posture has completely changed. My energy levels are better. I don’t dwell on negative self talk. I look at myself more compassionately.
